In November 2010 Edwards Korea commissioned Freddy Products to build them a Battery Propelled Mark 5 500ltr 3kw 240v, and an Ecovac 200ltr 3kw 240v. Unusual for us was the request to finish in blue rather than the usual Freddy orange. Keen to go the extra mile, we were happy to oblige, and I think you’ll agree the machines look superb!

SNO Yacht’s contacted Freddy to find a solution to their problem of cleaning up oil, water, diesel and bilge leaks from within the ocean going yacht’s they manufacture and service.
To take a wet vac down into the engine room was not feasible due to space and access restraints.
Therefore Freddy came up with a very powerful vacuum system consisting of a 500 ltr tank, a 7.5kw side channel contactless vacuum pump, all of which would stand on the quay side next to the yacht requiring service.

The S series vacuum units for F. Ball |
The S series vacuum units are the result of FREDDY’s notable experience in the field of industrial construction of vacuum units characterized by high decompression and high air moving capacity.
Their capacities are better than those of other productions.
They can be deployed in a wide variety of applications, including suction of liquids, swarf chips, powders, casting sand and cereals and are thus very suitable for use in foundries, refineries, steel mills, cement product blending and furnaces.

In 2006 Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd contacted Freddy Products to see if we might be able to help them with a problem they were having in their plastics department (injection moulding).
The problem Toyota had was that the plungers in the cylinders that force hot plastic liquid into the moulds would leak plastic particles, a similar size to cornflakes, when the plungers were drawn back for the next charge. The plastic flakes would cover the machine within a few hours and disrupt the production by fouling switches and stopping the machine.
Freddy installed a vacuum system, designed using electro pneumatic valves and a Programmable Logic Computer (PLC) system to control the valves in sequence to collection cups under each plunger cylinder.
