The S series vacuum units are the result of FREDDY’s notable experience in the field of industrial construction of vacuum units characterized by high decompression and high air moving capacity.Their capacities are better than those of other productions. They can be deployed in a wide variety of applications, including suction of liquids, swarf chips, powders, casting sand and cereals and are thus very suitable for use in foundries, refineries, steel mills, cement product blending and furnaces. The suction pumps used allow high air flow capacity, the speed of the air in the large pocket filters are low in order to allow effective cleaning by means of a built in electrically driven shaker. The filter chamber can be isolated from the dust drawer for cleaning. Models S10 and S20:- the dust draws are equipped with a max level detecting paddle switch. A cartridge type 2 micron safety filter is fitted on all models . The vacuum units when used for hazardous powders are available in a certified version according to DIN 24184 Aerosol 2, with 99,997% decomposition (0.3 micron). ATEX models also available. All the S range of vacuums use a ROOTS type rotary lobe blower that exhibit very high airflows and high vacuum capacity, each model uses an autocooling device for the blower to ensure temperature control at high vacuum is kept within the design limits. The S range can be adapted to be either static as in a central vacuum system when powered by mains electric or a mobile diesel powered system when situated on a remote site away from mains power. Performance levels start at 800 M3/h up to 3200 M3/h and vacuum levels up to 8000 daPa Motor ratings range from 15kw up to 97kw. NOTE = A preseparator must be connected between the vacuum unit and product input, either a hopper or cyclone skip. The separators can be fitted with a level detecting paddle switch to shut down the vacuum unit when full. A variety of sizes and types can be constructed to suit a particular application. |
