Freddy Second Filtration Unit
The Freddy Second Filtration Unit can be used with our existing range of coolant and swarf recycling vacuums.
With the Second Filtration unit attached to a Freddy Coolant Recycling vacuum, you are able to double the filtration area. For those customers that are already passing their coolant through twice to maximise the filtration, it is a handy way to save time too!
With filter bags available from 1 micron to 1000 micron, you are able to pass your coolant and swarf through the second filter unit, through a higher micron filter bag - to say remove the large swarf particles, before it then being passed through a smaller micron filter bag, to remove any sludge, silt, smaller swarf and other particulates. This is done in one cycle, so no further time or effort is required!
If you would like to see how quick and easy it is to fit and use the second filtration unit, please take a look at our "in action" video.
Freddy Micro
Why recycle coolant?
Whether you are using fully synthetic, semi-synthetic or neat oil, contaminated metalworking fluids are detrimental to business. Reducing the effectiveness, and reducing the life of machine tools can be costly. The finish of your products can be diminished, not to mention the health and safety implications that can be caused by the contaminated coolant, such as dermatitis. Then there is the cost of purchasing and disposing of your metalworking fluid. All of these issues can be solved by a Freddy. Take a look at some of the details for the Micro below, download our technical information sheet, or get in touch to see how we can help.
The Freddy Micro is the newest addition to the Freddy Coolant Recycling Vacuum family.
As the name suggests, the new Micro is a compact coolant recycling system, designed and manufactured in the UK. Designed and built to the high standards and specifications that has made the Freddy range a trusted name, the Freddy Micro offers a new solution to your coolant recycling needs.
With a smaller footprint, a smaller 50 litre capacity, and weighing less than any previous Freddy, it offers versatility, better mobility and affordability.
Available with a 2kw motor, and either a 240v or 110v power source, the motor can generate an airflow rate of 3000m3/hr with a water in-flow rate of 238 litres per minute and an out-flow rate of 100 litres per minute. And as with the rest of the Freddy range, fluid is filtered through filtered through a filterbag, which are available from 1000um down to 5um to ensure the Freddy Micro captures all contaminants from your machine tool.
Complete with a 38mm hose and gulper as standard, with the option to upgrade to a 51mm hose if required, as well as a 24 month warranty, the new Micro is a cost effective entry point for coolant recovery.

Freddy Micro Plus
The Freddy Micro Plus is the newest addition to the Freddy Coolant Recycling Vacuum family.
The Micro Plus continues on from the very successful Micro which was launched in early 2017. It is also a compact coolant recycling system, designed and manufactured in the UK. Made to the high standards and specifications that has made the Freddy range a trusted name, the Freddy Micro Plus offers a new solution to your coolant recycling needs.
With the same footprint, a 50 litre capacity, and weighing less than any previous Freddy, it offers versatility, better mobility and affordability, but now has the ability to pump out rather than have the gravity drain of the Micro. The ideal solution to smaller businesses.
It means it is now possible to recycle 50 litres of coolant through the machine and back into the sump in just 60 seconds!
Unlike many of our competitors, the Micro Plus does not use fragile submersible pumps which take up valuable space in the tank and make it incredibly difficult to thoroughly clean out. It actually gives the machine the ability to take on heavily contaminated liquids without fear of damaging any parts it comes in contact with. The airflow is switched from vacuum to pressurise in order to force collected liquids out of the holding tank. So powerful the 2kw unit it can easily pump out into barrels, IBC’s, or overhead storage tanks.
Available with a 2kw motor, and either a 240v or 110v power source, the motor can generate an airflow rate of 3000m3/hr with a water in-flow rate of 238 litres per minute and an outflow rate of 100 litres per minute. And as with the rest of the Freddy range, fluid is filtered through filtered through a filter bag, which are available from 1000um down to 5um to ensure the Freddy Micro captures all contaminants from your machine tool.
Complete with a 38mm hose and gulper as standard, with the option to upgrade to a 51mm hose if required, as well as a 24-month warranty, the new Micro is a cost-effective entry point for coolant recovery.

Freddy CHU
The Freddy Coolant Health Unit (CHU) was developed in conjunction with Rolls-Royce Central Manufacturing Team and tested at Rolls-Royce Derby supported by the Rolls-Royce fluid management provider Quaker Houghton.
The benefits:
• Avoid using a jet wash - used the filtered coolant to clean the machines
• Extract dirt and debris from ‘dead zones’
• Reduce cleaning time - 2500 litres of coolant can be 100% filtered and returned to a machine within 1 hour
• Reduce coolant changes and prevent waste from coolant changes
• Minimum impact on production - machines with large capacity tanks can continue running
• Hands free operation possible
How it differs from the rest of the Freddy Range:
Can be completely Hands-Free
Automatic fill and empty so no need to stop production
Additional tools (optional) -
• Y shape outlet for connection to standard discharge gun and extended 800mm length discharge gun
• Fishtail nozzle with additional extenders in 1m lengths - so to extend to 3m when required
• Magnetic suction and return nozzles - can be placed in the tank for complete hands-free operation
2nd Filter -
Increases filtration area Enables different levels of filtration with one pass - course filtration through 1st filter, fine filtration through 2nd filter
Controlled use - Ignition key on the motor
In action: After only 4 weeks of deployment over 24,000 litres of coolant waste was avoided - take a look at the below video for more information

Freddy Max
The Freddy Max is designed to vacuum out, filter and return coolant for re-use.
It has a tilting filter tank, enabling quick and easy emptying of the 60-litre basket, which feeds through to a secondary 37-litre turret. This filters out further, enabling double the filtration without any added work for the operator or additional space required. Designed to vacuum out the coolant from machine tool sumps, machine beds, drip trays, conveyors and even the shop floor with the dedicated floor tool and recycle it for re-use.
Freddy Titan
Born in our Bespoke department, the Titan is the largest of our coolant recycling vacuums. Although made as a 3000-litre unit, it can actually be made in a number of different tank sizes.
Well suited to Automotive and Aerospace industries where large wash tanks and CNC’s mean recycling can be done without using multiple IBC units, saving much downtime with unnecessary movements.
Fitted with a large 7.5kw 415v Side channel Pump means it can pull thick oils and heavy solids over a large distance at great speed. Equally the 415v discharge pump can empty the tank within 15 minutes and pump liquid up and into large central tanks.
Designed to be towed by Tractor or Forklift, it is still very manoeuvrable and sits on heavy-duty, non-marking tyres.
Like all Freddy units, it has a filter turret which will accept both our long and short filter baskets. Depending on the application you can decide what is best fit for you.
